Punto
banco
is a simpler but nevertheless equally attractive form of baccara.
The aim of the game is to reach the highest possible point of
nine with a minimum of two and a maximum of three cards.
At punto banco all cards are dealt by the dealer.
The player can stake his money on "Punto", "Banco" or "Egalité".
Both for "Punto" and for "Banco" two or three cards are dealt.
The side with the highest point wins, 9 being the maximum possible.
|
Cards
are dealt in accordance with fixed rules.
At
the end of the game the dealer announces the point for both
the "Punto" players and for the "Banco" players.
If "Banco" has a higher point than "Punto", it wins.
If "Punto" has a higher point than "Banco", it wins.
If both sides have the same point it is a stand-off and those
betting on "Egalité" win.
The stakes placed on "Punto" and "Banco" remain on the table,
can be withdrawn or changed.
